Damn Straight I am. NOW.

The Michgan Crew for the weekend minus Dennymonster & YJ & Priyanka. DC is now the new Michigan A/PIA Community Mecca. props to Denchan for the pic. It’s interesting. Before college I seriously had no friends. Ok that’s not true, I just didn’t have a lot and none of them are close. Now I feel like I have too many friends, which isn’t a bad thing, but very interesting for someone who has been alone for so much of my life. I think I didn’t really learn how to socialize correctly because of this….hence the title of this blog I’m strangely blunt sometimes, not very good at hiding my emotions, and overly oblivious at all times. But you guys all love me anyways right? riiiight? right? say you love me! *cough* right anyways. It was one busy crazy weekend and I was only an ok host. I don’t like talking, I rather just listen…it’s just not going to change and so…people will just have to live with that when they visit me. I did feel bad though cause I really know absolutely nothing about DC and so I didn’t really know what to to do…..thank god for madhu and that is all I will say on that topic.

Moving on, thank god the world cup is over…I can seriously study now instead of fake studying in front of the TV. Wished I had been able to see the last game but it’s ok had to take stephen and dennis to the airport. Stephen’s taken me to the airport enough times that I should repay the favor when i can. And part of my good host duties neh? After dropping them off at the airport, denny and xiao really wanted to see this guy who paints chinese landscapes. I was expecting scrolls and brush strokes. It was framed and water color. Supposely he created this new technique and all that wonderful jazz….but denny sumed it up pretty well “It’s like something from kindergarden.

We also went to the zoo. Pretty much we took pictures/denny took pictures of pen areas. It was pretty hot and the animals weren’t moving. TO be honest, the zoo was really small. It was fun though. And there were pandas. We just ended up taking pictures of the animals and denny made someone point at it. Poor things. Yesterday, a one Exl took us on a capital of the tour. There’s a little subway tran thing between the house and senate office buildings and the capital. It was pretty damn cool. Eric gave xiao his camera and she took a butt load of pictures. The places is really decorated and stuff like that. Usually when we take pictures denny, xiao, and doris pico are the ones who like to take silly pictures. But there I was in that overly stuff building and man was I butt ass silly. We were posing and taking weird shots. ANd there was this one room, it’s like the room of statues and the floor was checkered. Remember the Harry Potter movie when he had to play chess with big ass statues? Think that but famous people in american history and the checkers weren’t there. So I screamed “I choose you George Washington! Move up 5″ And then the security guard come and kicked us out….tours don’t happen after 4:30 and it was almost 5 and I had been screaming of course…. Oops. I’ll post them soon as a mr. exl sends the pictures to me. I heard they are hilarious.

The funniest thing happened. You know my doris pico post below? Well someone tracked it back and posted it on the coglomorate anime blog. It is hilarious. Doris is of course horrified. But I can’t stop. I CHOOSE YOU DORIS PICO!

I’ve lost all hunger. I’m on my period and I’m tired as hell and not eating. All very bad signs of something possibly evil around the corner. I bled through my pants yesterday and that just pissed me off. Cause I happend to mark the chair I was sitting on. It’s so embarrassing and you don’t want to clean it and make it obvious and yet urgh. I just sat on the damn things. The pants have to be dry cleaned now. I totally overestimated the pad. Must stop doing that.

I guess that’s about it unless I change my mind and add more. I finally went to a bar in DC after being here for almost two months. whoop whoop.  Amusing story about going to the bar. So dennis, stephen’s friend from HS came along, he’s the orange shirt in the pic above and we went to the 2nd bar. And he’s like I’ll get you guys tequila shots right? And he’s talking to the bartender about price and she’s like, if it’s 4 of you it will come out to 12 bucks. And with no shame at all, dennis goes “No No, what’s your cheapest tequila?” It probably was the highlight of the night. No shame no gain.

Right now, the songs of choice are, The Fray: Over my Head. It’s been with me for awhile but yeah…It feels very fitting right now.
